HGV Class 1 Driver

We are looking for reliable HGV drivers for a role based in Carrington.

This role involves curtain-sider work, supporting a busy transport operation with general haulage and delivery duties. This is a great opportunity for drivers looking for ongoing work, regular shifts, and competitive PAYE rates. Drivers must complete an assessment before starting.

Key Details

• Work Type: Curtain-sider / general haulage
• Shift Length: Average 11–12 hours
• Day Start Times: Between 02:00 and 08:00
• Night Start Times: Between 16:00 and 20:00
• Assessment Required

Assessment & Induction

The induction lasts approximately 3 hours and includes:

• Drug and alcohol test
• Driving assessment
• Short site induction if assessment is passed

Pay Rates – PAYE Holiday Included

• Monday to Friday Days: £18.08 per hour
• Monday to Friday Nights: £18.58 per hour
• Weekend Days: £20.22 per hour
• Weekend Nights: £20.64 per hour
• Night Out: £25.00
